Selena Blake's life has gotten a lot more complicated since reuniting with Bree, her childhood friend. Diagnosed with lupus and told she only has a few months to live, she is focused on only one thing--to help Bree save her father. Max Golitsin and Xander Rostov have been through their own hell. First turned and then captured, they had to flee for their lives from Russian peasants. Then they spent over a century searching for their mate. Arriving at Eternity to help with the new club, they meet Selena and realize she is the mate they've been searching for. Now they have to convince her, and that won't be so easy. While trying to protect her, they push her right into danger. When evil forces and her illness threaten to end her life, they have to make some difficult choices. Will they be able to get to her in time to save her life? Or will they have to make the ultimate sacrifice?

Let me start out by saying that these reviews are a little tricky to write. These are 3 different books with an underlining storyline that is building in all of them. The series is also not complete, but I have been informed by Lynne that she is writing 2 more to complete this series. Don’t worry about not having a completed series; in all 3 books the characters have HEA along with leaving your heart feeling complete.

Vampires of Eternity is like a breath of fresh air. I love reading paranormal books because they simply do not have a set of rules every author most follow. Each author gets to create what they think is the perfect story using vampires, werewolves or whatever else they can think up. This series is proof of that. The Vampires of Eternity have been double cursed… what does that mean? It means that not only are they vampires but a crazy gypsy out for revenge has cursed them again. The second curse is that they must find their mate before reaching 500 years or they die. Could you imagine what that would feel like to search everywhere unsure if you will ever find that ONE (or in some cases more) person who is your perfect mate/s? I thought getting married was hard enough and I got to pick him! Getting back on track here are my reviews of all 3 books.

Twice Bitten Not Shy:

The first story of this series does a marvelous job of setting you up for the future books while also giving you an incredible story line. Gwen, Christian and Sebastian are a remarkable trio. The guys will stop at nothing to have her but also respect and love her enough to let her choose for herself if she wants a future with them. Like most Vampire stories Gwen was a little hesitant on dying for the guys. Pretty smart if you ask me... not many things annoy me in books but when a person says to hell with it and changes into a vampire without really thinking about it I tend to lose interest in the book. That did not happen here and I am so thankful for it. Gwen is a strong woman who has been doing things on her own just fine after her divorce. Her ex is in this story but he isn’t smarmy like most writers make ex-husbands... but he does not like Sebastian or Christian… all thanks to the gypsy… who by the way will make you crazy and creep you out.

In this book you will also meet the leading lady of the second book, her men, Demetria (vampire queen who needs a reality check) and a few other characters that will make your reading experience remarkable.

Twice Bitten to Paradise:

The review for this book will be shorter because I can’t tell you a whole lot without giving away important information you will learn in reading the first book. What I can tell you though is that Bree is my favorite leading lady out of all three of these books. She has had a rough life so far and the second I “met” her in the first book I knew I would love her. In this book she discovers herself and also falls in love with Rafe and Luc (hot names BTW!) Luc and Rafe are really great guys and perfect for Bree in every way. Everything they do for her is out of love and it really shows her how much they care.

Bree goes through some seriously messed up stuff in this book. Including one scene with an eerie dude. After reading it I had to go take a shower… ick. Once you get to it you will know what I mean.. but keep reading because I promise that SOB gets some payback by our hot men, or should I say Bree’s hot men?! HA!

The sex in this book is off the charts so have a fan or a partner ready and waiting for you when you finish the sex scenes. ; ) Other than that sit back and get ready for an unbelievable ride that will leave you guessing at every turn!! Guess this review really wasn’t that much shorter huh??

Twice Bitten and Bewitched:

Oh Selena how I am jealous of you… the two men you get are some fine piece of male flesh (that is if they were real). Max with his big sexy self and Xander with his slick tongue… if I wasn’t already taken I would gladly take them for a night, or eternity. (Wink) I know I was saying before how I can’t stand books where someone just jumps right at the chance to being a vampire; well if I was in Selena’s position I probably would have done just that. Not only are they amazing men but other things in her life would have made me want a forever too. Sel has not had an easy life. She loses her mother, grew up without a father and ends up getting a disease that is killing her. To top it off her best friend leaves town and doesn’t see her again for 10 years. Every teenage girl needs her BFF… so when she runs it leaves an empty place in Selena’s life.

The trio faces some really crazy things in this book. Is hard not to say exactly what happens but out of all 3 of the books this is by far the most suspenseful and attention grabbing. I was even at the point where I was walking around the house with it right in front of my face just so I could finally get up and go to the bathroom, yes it was that good.

Even though Selena is hot for the guys she has no issues at all putting them in their place when they go behind her back and do something that they knew would piss her off. I can honestly say she is one stubborn woman when it comes to getting her way. This is probably why she makes for an incredible leading lady in this story.

Once you start reading this book you will not want to put it down so just remember you were warned!

So because I don’t want to give away the story, because it really is something I suggest everyone who loves paranormal to check this series out. If you’re unsure if you will like it because it has two men, trust me when I say that the men are focused on the women. I would have liked to see more male on male action because I do find that super-hot, but maybe in a book down the road (hint hint LYNNE).
