A Blue Tale is not your typical rock-n-roll love story. Eli is the daughter of a rock legend who dies way before his time. Deacon is an up and coming rocker who admired her father for many things...the most important of which is giving him the ability to believe in himself. Separately their lives are adrift, but together they can create something amazing.
I could not put this book down! I'm not saying I stayed up until 2am trying to finish it before passing out and having to finish the next day...I'm just saying that's a hypothetical situation that may or may not have happened to "someone" reading this book.
Right from the first second I knew I loved Deacon...but I was on the fence about Shaw (the BFF Eli has know her whole life and dated in her youth). Was he a heart-breaker...was he a best friend, Sarah had my head spinning in different directions. For me this is the mark of a great author. The art of confusion...and Sarah plays her readers well. I loved every second of this story, even the ones that made me cry (something the EVIL Sarah has promised with each of her books). The characters are men and women you cheer for, the music can be heard in your heart, and the love is that of fairytales. Cinderella would be proud...you'll have to read the book to get that reference ;)
A Blue Tale is one of those books that the second you are done reading it you jump on Facebook to tell the author what an amazing job they have done. Sarah has managed to knock another one out of the park and I seriously can't wait to see what she does next! Hopefully it's another story about one of my new favorite rock bands.

Sarah Dosher was born and raised in rural Oklahoma where she currently resides with her cowboy husband and twins (one cowboy and one cowgirl). She spends her day slaving away in healthcare and her nights pouring her heart out to her keyboard. She is addicted to books and The Golden Girls. Her love for reading inspired her to start her writing journey.
