I'm sure no one will be surprised that this is yet another winner from the amazing Nina Levine! I mean seriously...can this woman write a bad book?!? I have been waiting to learn more about Nash since the first time he was introduced, and the wait has been worth it. Nash and Velvet have a difficult friendship that slowly turns into something more. This is the 3rd book in the Storm MC series and while it is helpful to understand the backstory you can read it as a stand-alone.
Nash has a dark and troubled past with a secret that no one knows. Even the reader is left guessing until it is finally revealed...and OMG! Velvet pulled herself up from a poor upbringing and dusted herself off after a horrible marriage. She may be a stripper, but she is the best damn stripper and has big plans for her future.
This is the story of how an unlikely friendship can change the lives of two very different people. There is a beautiful natural progression to their relationship...no insta-love here, folks. We also get a look at all of the characters we love from the previous 3 books. And I cannot wait to see what Nina does next!
