SYNOPSIS

The first word that came to mind when I turned the last page: EXCEPTIONAL.
Once again, Shay shoves you right into the story – I absolutely
love that! No beating around the bush,
no pussy footing around, she gets right down to business…… and why not? – we
are talking about the mafia after all, so it only seems fitting.
Evan’s in a race against time and himself. He’s been through hell, but he’s still
clawing his way back. Evan comes face to
face with the one thing he never thought he would ever need…… someone
else. But that’s exactly where he finds
himself. Evan doesn’t just want Lia, he
needs her. She’s his calm, his savior,
his everything. There is no way he’s
letting go of her this time. But what
happens when the secret life Evan leads introduces itself to Lia? Will she run? Needless to say, what happens is nothing
short of breathtaking.
The entire series is the epitome of page-turner! It is erotic, intense, riveting, and
emotional. It’s action packed from
beginning to end with twists and turns you won’t see coming. There’s no sugar coating here; it’s raw,
honest, and real.
Anyone can write a great story, but not everyone can create
characters that are so vivid and real that you forget you are reading a book
and not living in it. Shay Savage has a
remarkable gift of pulling the reader into the story in a way that is
unimaginable unless you have experienced it for yourself. She says her stories have teeth. I think it’s more like fangs, claws, spikes –
anything that can grab you and drag you along for the ride and keep you captive
until the bitter end.
It’s a sign of a BRILLIANT and PHENOMENAL writer when you feel
every single moment of a story. I could
feel the darkness, angst, and torment in Evan’s mind with every word I
read. I have never been so fascinated
with a character. Inside the mind of
Evan Arden is a complex and twisted place to be, but it’s one of the most
interesting places you will ever explore.
You will see Evan for who he is and not what he is…….. a killer.
You will never read another book/series like this ever! The ability to do what Shay Savage has done
with the Evan Arden trilogy is rare, and it’s truly a gift to readers. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this series! Be forewarned this does not have puppies and
rainbows. The Evan Arden Trilogy is RAW,
DARK, GRITTY, and KILLER!
I love how Shay closed
out the series. It is clever how the
story came full circle (read the Epilogue and you will see what I mean). It feels complete, and I’m not the least bit
disappointed it’s over. Thank you, Shay
Savage, for one of the most intelligent and gripping series I have ever
read!!

Shay Savage lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, two
children, and a variety of household pets. She is an accomplished public
speaker, and holds the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster from Toastmasters
International. When not writing, she enjoys science fiction movies, and loves
soccer in any and all forms. During the fall, she coaches her daughter’s soccer
team. Though she currently works in the technology field, her school background
is in psychology, and she brings a lot of that knowledge into the characters
within her stories.
