I've been reading Aleatha since Consequences came out...back when I thought her name was pronounced All-e-the-a and not A-lea-tha....if that makes any sense! When I heard that there was a new book available for review only on thing went through my mind...
If you are a fan of the Consequences series you will LOVE Insidious! It comes with the expected twists and turns that Aleatha is so very good at. She is the queen of hitting you with what you don't expect. I mean did any of you expect to be Team Tony?!?! *While I am not Team Tony, I am not longer Team Throw Tony on a Pile of Fire Ants Until he Dies or They Eat His Penis anymore*
When we meet Victoria and Stewart we are immediately drawn into their story and aren't let go until the final word. This is not the exchange we are use to...they have struck a bargain. There are so many things I want to say about this book, but I don't want to give anything away! This is a book you must experience for yourself! The characters are strong, and Victoria struggles though some very difficult choices which just make me like her more. As with he who shall not be named (though I put his name in the previous paragraph lol) I am torn on my feelings for her husband. Do I love him? Do I hate him? Should someone cut his penis off and throw it in a field? I'm not sure! Maybe I need more processing time. The secondary characters are full and interesting.
This book is worth every penny...and quite a few more! Get it now!
