Kadence Turner has no business lusting over a student’s father, especially the president of the Knights Rebels MC. Nix is crass, obnoxious and dangerously sexy and for some reason, Kadence can’t seem to hate him for it. The bossy biker breaks down her defenses, but unlike the old Kadence, the woman she is today won’t give in without a fight. 

The tension is undeniable, the attraction fierce. A man that wants what he wants and a woman that will fight him every step of the way.

Words cannot express how much I loved this book! After a few hundred MC books you get the feeling you've read all of the story lines before. One of the things I LOVED about Incandescent is that I never got that feeling! Every second it made me want to read it more.

The story starts with a house on fire. Kadence wakes up to a noise that startles her and ends up fighting for her life. Her story is tragic, and I love that she is not only said to be a strong woman, but River Savage writes her that way. Each decision she makes and every action she takes gives a hint into the kind of woman who would not only survive something so tragic, but flourish despite the circumstances.

Nix is the bad ass biker who rolls into her life. His adorable son is a student in her class who is having issues. There is the ex-wife who for some reason feels she should be his only focus and doesn't seem to care much about her son. When the past meets the present Nix and Kadence have a battle to face which could put both their lives at risk.

The secondary characters are full and loveable...kind of ;) It makes me hope that everyone gets their story. Though next up is Kadence's BFF Holly who has her own demons to battle. I can't wait to read her story!
